Filing a DMCA Notice

Our Response Process

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

• Review the notice for completeness and validity
• Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
• Notify the user who posted the material (if identifiable)
• Take appropriate action against repeat infringers

We typically respond within 1-3 business days and take action within 24-48 hours of receiving a valid notice.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification containing:

• Your name, address, phone number, and email
• Identification of the removed material and its former location
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
• Consent to jurisdiction of federal court and acceptance of service of process from the original complainant
• Your physical or electronic signature

We will forward valid counter-notifications to the original complainant. If they do not file legal action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the material.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We maintain a repeat infringer policy in accordance with DMCA requirements. Users who repeatedly post infringing content will have their accounts terminated.

• First offense: Content removal and warning
• Second offense: Temporary account suspension
• Third offense: Permanent account termination

Limitations

LinksForYou.Fun is a platform that shortens user-submitted URLs. We do not host, control, or modify the destination content. Our role is limited to providing the shortening service.

Copyright claims should primarily be directed to the website hosting the actual infringing content. However, we will disable links to infringing content upon receiving valid DMCA notices.

Misrepresentation

Warning: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing or was removed by mistake may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorney fees.
